  • Dean, Managing Director

    Dean is an experienced education practitioner, a former primary school teacher, trained assessor and education consultant, he has a passion for providing high quality teaching and learning. As well as having a passion for sport, Dean connects well with children and staff alike and he has built an excellent reputation by being flexible, adaptable and building positive working relationships.
  • Rebecca, Director of Childcare

    Rebecca has over 15 year's experience in working in the Early Years Sector. She has created a caring and nurturing ethos that is embedded in to all of our childcare provisions. Rebecca has been a Manager for 5 years and became a Director of Kickstart in September 2016, she is also the Nominated Individual and Safeguarding lead for the organisation. In addition to having strategic responsibility for all of our provisions, Rebecca has also worked with Local authorities and Greater Sport in delivering and evaluating Physical Literacy programmes such as Let's Play.
  • Jackie, General Manager

    Jackie is our General manager who supports the Directors in overseeing Childcare, Education and the Office. Her background is supporting children and families in a variety of settings and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in this area of work. Having been involved in social care for more than fifteen years, Jackie has a lot of experience in working with children who are disengaged and in offering support to their families. In addition, Jackie has been a primary school teacher and has run Intervention Programmes successfully for a number of years. Jackie coordinates the Family club and Intervention Programmes that Kickstart offer.
  • Helena, Childcare Manager

    Helena has joined Kickstart as Childcare Manager, working mainly with the breakfast and after school clubs based at Barton Moss Primary. Helena has worked in childcare since 2004, and s qualified with a BA Hons Early Childhood Degree. Helena will also be supporting the Director of Childcare in working closely with the teams at each school to ensure that Kickstart continues to offer high quality childcare in a fun and caring environment.
  • Jess, Senior Playworker

    Jess has joined the team in a supervisory role at our brand new wrap around provision based in Congleton at Marton & District Primary School. Jess has a sunny disposition and several years experience of running a childcare provision. Jess is extremely enthusiastic and enjoys liaising with parents to share the positive experiences that children have whilst in our care.
  • Rachel, Playworker

    Rachel is a Playworker at Marton & District Wrap Around Childcare Provision. She is well known to the children throughout the whole of the school due to her work within the school kitchen. Rachel is a warm and caring person and she is very enthusiastic, having already established positive relationships with all in her care.
  • Linda, Deputy Manager - Childcare

    Linda Linda first worked with Kickstart as a parent in one of our primary school family clubs. Linda worked in Health and Social Care before re-training with Kickstart to complete her Level 2 Childcare qualification. We were so impressed with Linda that we employed her in January 2016 and she has now finished her Level 3 Playworker qualification. Linda was promoted to Deputy Manager in September 2017 and she is currently completing a team-leader vocational course. Linda is based at our Childcare Setting at St Matthew's CE Primary School in Stretford.
  • Lisa B, Playworker

    Lisa Lisa is a member of the Playworker team working in our childcare wrap around provisions. Lisa runs one of our breakfast clubs at Highfield Primary in Urmston and works at our Stretford provision at St Matthew's CE Primary School. Lisa builds positive relationships with the children, parents, and staff, has excellent organisation skills and has helped the children to produce some great creative works whilst part of our team. Lisa has completed her Level 2 Playworker Qualification and she is currently working towards achieving Level 3 status.
  • Lisa H, Playworker

    Lisa was a parent who attended and helped out at one of our family clubs and is now employed by Kickstart at our Barton Moss childcare provision. Lisa has two children of her own and she has recently been working as a Teaching Assistant at a local school.
  • Kim, Playworker

    Kim is a member of the Playworker team and is based in our childcare provision at Barton Moss. Kim has built a good reputation for building positive relationships with parents, staff and children. A hardworking and dedicated member of the team, Kim has a very caring nature and goes above and beyond to ensure that the children have a great time in her care.
  • Sam, Senior Coach (Sports and Community Development)

    Sam is a confident lead member of the Sports Coaching Team who engages with children and provides constant assurance to young people. In addition to delivering a range of different sports, Sam is committed to learning new skills and continually developing his knowledge and skills. Sam works well with staff and children and organises high quality and structured lunchtime and after-school support. Sam also helps facilitate community projects such as playstreets and family clubs.
  • Mairead, Senior Coach (Sports and Community Development)

    Mairead Mairead is a lead member of the Sports Coaching Team and works alongside our other coaches in developing sports provisions in our partner schools, as well as running after school sports clubs and delivering sport in our holiday clubs. Mairead also facilitates our family club where parents and children come together once a week after school and she plays rugby for a local team and coaches a youth girls team evenings and weekends.
  • Rebecca S, Sports Coach

    Rebecca is a member of our Sports Coaching Team and helps to deliver sports provision in our partner schools as well as running some of our after school sports clubs. Rebecca has a wide variety of experience of delivering sports coaching sessions to children, and is also a Premiership Ladies Rugby player for Worcester Warriors.
  • Tom, Sports Coach

    Tom is an experienced multi sports coach who joins us having worked with a local youth zone, facilitating and delivering activities for children of all ages. Tom delivers PE lessons and supports teaching staff in sport based CPD, he is an energetic and enthusiastic coach and he also leads lunchtime and after school club sessions.
