The children at Barton Moss gymnastics club have continued to work hard, focusing on the techniques involved within rolls and ways of travelling. The children have had the opportunity to be creative and imaginative and incorporate their ideas into the performance that took place on the 11th December. Thank you to all that attended.
Boxercise club Barton Moss
During last term the children of Barton Moss have been gradually improving their boxing and fitness skills. The children have been working on their jabs, hooks and uppercuts and Kickstart coach – Sam has been impressed with how well they have progressed. The children from Key Stage 1 are now all able to identify and perform each type of punch whilst the Key Stage 2 children are putting together their own combinations with good technique. The children from upper key stage 2 have also been creating their own fitness workouts with exercises such as the plank, push ups, step ups, skipping and shadow boxing. Overall, it has been a fantastic boxercise club at Barton Moss. In fact, it has been so successful Kickstart have decided to run it again after the Christmas holidays so make sure you sign up and get your place quick!
