Well, it’s break time for the lovely staff at your school, which means a slight break for us too.
We have had a fun filled term, with a lot gong on. We have had Chinese New Year, Valentines Day, Red nose day, World book day, Mother’s day and now Easter. We have tried to accommodate as many of these into family club as possible to keep you busy and entertained.
We have also had three new additions to our Salford clubs, two baby girls and a baby boy have joined their families. welcome to all three and thank you to their lovely families for allowing us to have cuddles. One super mummy came in to collect resources for her daughter whilst she was in labour, because she didn’t want her to miss out. Amazing!
Just a reminder – there is no age limit to our clubs, please bring along all your family, not just the ones that attend the school.
We have asked for your suggestions and taken on board what you have told us you wanted. You have asked for more interactive games as a group – we successfully introduced Bingo before we broke up: We will continue this and introduce other fun ideas and challenges.
You have asked for more sports. At most schools we are able to implement this and Mairead and Sam are looking forward to putting you through your paces alongside your children.
You have asked for baking. The final term before summer holidays will be all about baking – culminating in a “Great Kickstart Bake-off” where Dean and your school staff will judge the entries. Which family from which school will win. Can’t wait to find out!
Please let us know if you have any further ideas or if you have any skills you are willing to share at your clubs.
Enjoy your Easter break.
