As part of our adult learning programme Kickstart held the first day of a two day Pediatric First Aid course at the Castle Community Centre in Eccles. Attendees including community residents, Kickstart and school staff and members of the local Tenant’s and Resident’s Association. Pediatric First Aid is a vital life skill that can reduce the risk of long-term damage and help save lives. In addition to looking at how to treat burns , scolds, choking and head injuries, the participants also practiced CPR and looked at using a defibrillator. The second part of the course will conclude on Wednesday 22nd March with 16 delegates in attendance.
