  • Rebecca, Managing Director - Childcare

    Rebecca has over 15 year's experience in working in the Early Years Sector. She has created a caring and nurturing ethos that is embedded in to all of our childcare provisions. Rebecca has been a Manager for 5 years and became a Director of Kickstart in September 2016, she is also the Nominated Individual and Safeguarding lead for the organisation. In addition to having strategic responsibility for all of our provisions, Rebecca has also worked with Local authorities and Greater Sport in delivering and evaluating Physical Literacy programmes such as Let's Play.
  • Dean, Managing Director - Education and Sport

    Dean is an experienced education practitioner, a former primary school teacher, trained assessor and education consultant, he has a passion for providing high quality teaching and learning. As well as having a passion for sport, Dean connects well with children and staff alike and he has built an excellent reputation by being flexible, adaptable and building positive working relationships. Dean has done a lot of work on Curriculum Development and is supporting a number of Headteachers and Leadership Teams in this area of work.
  • Luke, Business Development Lead (People, Sales, Sport and Strategy)

    Luke has recently completed a BSC (Honours) Exercise and Sport Science degree. He has played tennis and football to national level and has several years’ experience of coaching children and adults in tennis and multi-sports. He delivers enjoyable and professional lessons. In addition to still delivering PE and sports coaching in our partner schools, Luke will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, coordinating HR and Marketing strategies across Kickstart, helping us to sustain our quality and grow the number of services we can offer and schools we support.
  • Jackie, Family Support and Intervention Manager

    Having been involved in social care for more than fifteen years, Jackie has a lot of experience in working with children who are disengaged and in offering support to their families. In addition, Jackie has been a primary school teacher and has run Intervention Programmes successfully for a number of years. Jackie coordinates the Family club and Intervention Programmes that Kickstart offer.
  • Tom, Senior Coach (Sports and Community Development)

    Tom is an experienced lead multi sports coach who has experience of working with a local youth zone, facilitating and delivering activities for children of all ages. Tom is energetic and enthusiastic and builds excellent working relationships with children and staff. Tom helps lead the coaching team and delivers PE lessons, whilst also supporting teaching staff in sport based CPD.
  • Linda, Deputy Manager - Childcare

    Linda Linda first worked with Kickstart as a parent in one of our primary school family clubs. Linda worked in Health and Social Care before re-training with Kickstart to complete her Level 2 Childcare qualification. We were so impressed with Linda that we employed her in January 2016 and she has now finished her Level 3 Playworker qualification. Linda was promoted to Deputy Manager in September 2017 and she is currently completing a team-leader vocational course. Linda is based at our Childcare Setting at St Matthew's CE Primary School in Stretford.
  • Lisa H, Playworker

    Lisa was a parent who attended and helped out at one of our family clubs and is now employed by Kickstart at our Barton Moss childcare provision. Lisa has two children of her own and she has recently been working as a Teaching Assistant at a local school.
  • Lisa B, Playworker

    Lisa Lisa is a member of the Playworker team working in our childcare wrap around provisions. Lisa runs one of our breakfast clubs at Highfield Primary in Urmston and works at our Stretford provision at St Matthew's CE Primary School. Lisa builds positive relationships with the children, parents, and staff, has excellent organisation skills and has helped the children to produce some great creative works whilst part of our team. Lisa has completed her Level 2 Playworker Qualification and she is currently working towards achieving Level 3 status.
  • Kim, Playworker

    Kim is a member of the Playworker team and is based in our childcare provision at Barton Moss. Kim has built a good reputation for building positive relationships with parents, staff and children. A hardworking and dedicated member of the team, Kim has a very caring nature and goes above and beyond to ensure that the children have a great time in her care.
  • Nyle, Sports Coach

    Nyle is our newest member of the team, he joins us having already gained experience in working in schools providing sports coaching as well as coaching his local, junior football club. He is a bright, enthusiastic young man who is already showing pride in being part of our fantastic sports team.
  • Brooke, Sports Coach - Dance Lead

    kickstart Brooke is a recent graduate completing her PCGE PCET in further education. Brooke has trained in dance up to degree level and is now pursuing a career in teaching across primary schools, with previous experience in the U.S and community education settings teaching dance, drama as well as mindfulness to young children. Brooke is looking to develop the dance and creative provision for Kickstart providing schools with opportunities.
