The Luck o’ the Irish @ Highfield

Saint Patrick’s Day is an annual feast day celebrating the patron saint that the day is named after.

Saint Patrick’s Day is the national holiday of Ireland and is usually celebrated on 17th March (that is the day he died in 461 AD).

The Highfield breakfast club children have been celebrating  with lots of crafty activities.

Take a look at some of the rainbow coloured crafts we have been making and don’t forget to read the Irish blessing below.

“May the sun shine, all day long,
everything go right, and nothing wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you,
and may all the wishes you wish come true!”
