Barton Moss Childcare.

The children of Barton Moss made advent calendars in preparation for the 1st December. Some made them for their parents, writing heart-felt (and maybe a little cheeky) messages inside the windows. They have also made penguins that are displayed in the hub, a stocking to hang on the home corner fireplace, bunting, baubles, snowflakes, a glittery calendar and lots of Christmas decorations

The Christmas role play area was designed by the children and made collaboratively by Kickstart staff and the children. It includes: Santa Claus’ workshop: where the children put together tin soldiers and make other toys to post in the post box, an igloo for the children to play in, build snow block structures or read and a village of snow ball games. A North Pole sign points the way so the children don’t get lost, all are covered with a little magic Christmas dust to add to the excitement. The final week of term ends with evenings of party games, movie night and some baking.

Please keep an eye on the website for the childcare challenge winners announcement. Well done to all the children, and fingers crossed for Friday’s results.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year from the staff and children at Kickstart Childcare, Barton Moss. x
