At Kickstart Childcare, we place great importance on a partnership approach which gives children the best outcomes, inspiring them to achieve their full potential in their own unique way. Through our core values, we foster a home from home environment providing a child centred approach. Our curriculum is designed to give children the opportunity to become successful, confident individuals, who make a positive contribution to our community and society – both now and in the future. 

Staff at the club enjoy exceptionally close bonds with the host school. The headteacher feels that the club is an integral part of school life and remarks that the club is ‘firmly at the centre of the community’. Staff regularly consult with teachers in school to ensure that activities provided at the club seamlessly complement what children are being taught in school. Furthermore, children are encouraged to complete any school homework with the support of staff

Kickstart Childcare works with Partner Schools to provide wraparound childcare provisions that meet the needs of the families in that local area.  We have a background of forming clubs from scratch and setting them up and also taking on existing clubs and improving the quality and growing capacity.  Our Childcare team is highly skilled and extremely well led by our experienced Director of Childcare who has over 15 years’ experience working in Early Years Settings.  

The well-qualified and dedicated manager is an advocate for playwork. She aspires to be outstanding and has created an oasis of calm, where children flourish and thrive through good-quality play experiences

By working with Kickstart Childcare, Partner Schools will be able to offer either the full range or a mixture of breakfast, afterschool and holiday clubs.  In addition, during the past two years, Kickstart Childcare has gained approximately £50,000 of funding to be able to deliver the Holiday Activity Fund provision at 5 partner schools, providing 250 children per day free holiday club provision.
