Family Support and Intervention Manager Vacancy (Primary Schools and Community)
FAMILY SUPPORT AND INTERVENTION MANAGER – TERM-TIME ONLY
Kickstart Education is a limited social enterprise operating in the Greater Manchester and East Cheshire areas of the North-West of England. The ideal candidate for this role will be looking to design, deliver and review early intervention programmes and family club inter-generational sessions, in addition to supporting our Community work in Salford and Trafford. The successful applicant will be reliable, punctual and have at least 12-month’s experience of successfully working with children and families. This is a full-time position (TERM-TIME ONLY) but we would consider applications from candidates wanting a part-time position and look at a potential job share.
The role will report to the Head of Operations and duties will include;
- Planning and delivering Intervention Sessions with children attending primary school
- Reviewing sessions and completing the necessary reports for funders and schools
- Working with school staff, the Kickstart management and other agencies to monitor progress
- Planning and Delivering inter-generational activities in our primary school family clubs
- Overseeing the reporting and feedback of these services and providing reports on a termly basis
- Driving our Community work in Eccles and Trafford, supporting our Community Hubs and engaging with local volunteers to help provide services to families
- Performing any other duties as required by the organisation
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
- 12-month’s experience of successfully working with children and families
- Access to private transport and a full UK driving licence
- Experience of working with challenging behaviour
- Good knowledge of family support services
