Paper Plate Octopi

What you will need:
- Paper Plates
- Pipe Cleaners
- Paints
- Hole Puncher
- Pencil
- Googly Eyes
How to do it:
- Cut your paper plate in half.
- Decorate one side of the paper plate using your finger to create your octopus design.
- ADULTS: Use a hole puncher to make holes along the bottom of the paper plate.
- Thread a pipe cleaner through each hole to create the tentacles.
What Will the Children Learn:
Children will learn how to mix different colours while exploring and understanding basic animal body parts.
Top Tips:
Complete this activity with an adult present to supervise and help with the hole punching, and encourage children to mix paints together to create a unique design.
