Making Bow & Arrows

What you will need:
- Small Paper Plate
- Coloured Pens
- Wooden Lollipop Stick
- Elastic Band
- Scissors
- Cotton Buds

How to do it:
- Soak the lollipop stick in water for at least 1 hour to make it flexible.
- Use coloured pens to decorate the paper plate like an archery target, adding scoring numbers if you like.
- Ask an adult to carefully cut a small notch at each end of the lollipop stick.
- Attach the elastic band into each notch, pulling it tight to create your bow.
- Hold the bow with the curved lollipop stick facing forward.
- Place a cotton bud on the elastic band, pull it back, aim at your target, and release to shoot!

Helps children develop their fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and basic numeracy through aiming, shooting and scoring their targets.
Top Tips:
Add some sellotape to the lollipop stick to make it stronger.
