What you will need:
- Recycled cardboard materials
- Shoebox or small cardboard box
- Toilet roll tubes
- Leaves and sticks
- Pinecones
- Masking tape or glue
- Scissors
- Bamboo (optional)

How to do it:
- Find a shoebox or small cardboard box and decide on the shape of your bug hotel.
- Collect natural materials such as sticks, leaves, pinecones and bamboo from your garden or local outdoor space.
- Use cardboard pieces and toilet roll tubes to create different sections and levels inside the box.
- Secure everything in place using masking tape or glue.
- Add leaves and flowers to help attract insects and make your hotel look inviting.
- Place your bug hotel in a quiet, sheltered outdoor spot and observe which creatures come to visit!
