Cardboard Tube Butterfly

What you will need:
- Toilet roll tube
- Coloured or patterned paper/card
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Pencil crayons or felt-tip pens
- Optional: Glitter, sequins or other decorative materials

How to do it:
- Cover the toilet roll tube with coloured or patterned paper and secure it with glue.
- Cut out two butterfly wing shapes from coloured paper or card and attach them to the sides of the tube using glue.
- Cut out antenna shapes from paper (or use pipe cleaners) and glue them to the top of the tube.
- Decorate your butterfly using pens, crayons, glitter, sequins or any other craft materials you have available.

Children will develop fine motor skills, creativity and an understanding of butterflies while creating their own colourful craft.
Top Tips:
Prepare the wings and antennae before starting to make the activity easier for younger children.
