Activity Name:
Football Fuzz Table
Suitable For:
All Ages
Time Required:
20-30 mins
What you will need:
- Cardboard Box
- Straws
- Pencil or paint
- Scissors
- Glue/tape
- Paper or card
- Small ball (table tennis, crumpled paper or foil)

How to do it:
- Stand your cardboard box on its side so the open end faces you – this is your pitch and goal frame.
- Use pencil or paint to draw pitch lines, goal boxes and team badges on the box.
- Cut straws into equal lengths to make pitch edge posts and player handles. Glue or tape them along the top and sides of the box.
- Cut simple player shapes from paper/card, colour them in, then fix each one to the end of a straw.
- Make small paper “score cards” or team flags if you like.
- Pop your ball inside – use the straw players to pass, tackle and shoot!
