How to do it:
- Prepare your plate – Take a paper plate and cut it in half. You can use one half to make your octopus.
- Decorate the octopus – Colour or paint the plate in your favourite colour. Let it dry before moving on.
- Make the face – Glue on two googly eyes. Add a smile using a pen or marker.
- Punch the holes – Ask an adult to help you punch several small holes along the straight edge of the plate.
- Add the tentacles – Cut pieces of colourful wool or yarn. Thread each piece through a hole and tie a knot to keep it in place. You can use lots of different colours to make your octopus bright and colourful!
- Get creative! Add spots, glitter, stickers or anything else you like to give your octopus its own personality.
