Kickstart is delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with Greater Manchester Darts Coaching CIC, bringing together two organisations united by a shared commitment to high‑quality, inclusive sporting opportunities for children and young people across Greater Manchester.
Kickstart is widely recognised within the education sector for its long‑standing work with schools, multi‑academy trusts and local authorities, supporting high‑quality physical education, enrichment and wellbeing provision. With a strong reputation built on trust, consistency and educational expertise, Kickstart works closely with school leaders to ensure sport and physical activity meaningfully support children’s personal development, confidence and lifelong engagement in healthy activity.
This new partnership reflects Kickstart’s ongoing commitment to growing and diversifying sporting opportunities within schools, particularly by introducing children to alternative sports in a structured and age‑appropriate way. Together with Greater Manchester Darts Coaching CIC, the partnership aims to develop darts as a positive and accessible activity that complements schools’ Physical Education and enrichment offers. The collaboration has been formed with a clear educational focus and shared ambition. Through close joint working, Kickstart and Greater Manchester Darts Coaching CIC will support schools through:
- Joint delivery of darts sessions within curriculum time and enrichment provision
- Co‑facilitated coaching, with staff from both organisations working together to ensure high‑quality delivery
- Cross‑training opportunities to upskill staff and strengthen coaching practice
- The development of a consistent, structured darts curriculum designed specifically for educational settings
