Kickstart at Bradshaw Hall Primary
Hello everyone, welcome to our half termly Keeping up with Kickstart newsletter. Here’s a snapshot of what children have been enjoying recently at Bradshaw Hall Primary, along with key updates and what’s coming up next.
What’s Been Happening
Over the past few weeks, children have been making the most of the summer weather while learning how to stay safe in the heat. They have enjoyed a range of fun and engaging activities, including water play, water fights, football, hockey and cricket sessions.
Children have also taken part in a variety of summer-themed crafts, creating baby sharks, ice lollies and DIY fans to help keep cool. Our KS2 children have particularly enjoyed following the Men’s World Cup and discussing the tournament throughout the club.
Highlight of the Term
- Celebrated our World Cup-themed activities with football-inspired games and challenges.
- Created flags and participated in a range of creative activities linked to the tournament.
- Enjoyed coming together as a club to share in the excitement of the World Cup final.

- Summer Holiday Club – Monday 27th July to Friday 28th August.
- HAF Summer Holiday Club – Tuesday 28th July to 21st August.

Important Information
As the weather remains warm, please ensure your child attends with:
- A named water bottle.
- A sun hat or cap.
- Sun cream applied before arriving at club. If your child needs to reapply sun cream during the day, please ensure they bring a named bottle with them.
