Kickstart at Cheadle Catholic Junior Primary
Hello everyone, welcome to our half-termly Keeping Up with Kickstart newsletter. Here’s a snapshot of what children have been enjoying recently at Cheadle Catholic, along with key updates and what’s coming up next.
What’s Been Happening
The children have thoroughly enjoyed making the most of the sunny weather, spending lots of time outdoors taking part in crafts, sports and themed activities. Many children have enjoyed following the Women’s World Cup, choosing teams to support and getting involved in football-themed discussions and activities.
Our outdoor spaces have been a huge hit this half term, with children enjoying the climbing area, forest school activities, football and plenty of games on the field.
We also took part in a sponsored silence challenge. During snack time, children learned some basic sign language and embraced the challenge brilliantly. The money raised will go towards fun activities chosen by the children for the final days of term.
Highlight of the Term

Important Information
As the weather remains warm, please ensure your child attends with:
- A named water bottle.
- A sun hat or cap.
- Sun cream applied before arriving at club. If your child needs to reapply sun cream during the day, please ensure they bring a named bottle with them.
