Kickstart at Waterloo Primary
Hello everyone, welcome to our half-termly Keeping Up with Kickstart newsletter. Here’s a snapshot of what children have been enjoying recently at Waterloo Primary School, along with key updates and what’s coming up next.
What’s Been Happening
It has been a fun-filled half term at Kickstart, with children taking part in a range of creative, active and summer-themed activities. They have enjoyed getting involved in our World Cup Party, decorating football biscuits, playing balloon tennis and cooling down with water play.
Our overall focus has been on keeping active, spending time outdoors and enjoying creative indoor activities to help everyone stay cool during the warmer weather.
Highlight of the Term
- Celebrated and followed the World Cup through themed activities and games.
- Enjoyed football-themed fun, including decorating football biscuits.
- Took part in active games such as balloon tennis and water play.

Important Information
As the weather remains warm, please ensure your child attends with:
- A named water bottle.
- A sun hat or cap.
- Sun cream applied before arriving at club. If your child needs to reapply sun cream during the day, please ensure they bring a named bottle with them.
