Christmas & New Year HAF Clubs
There are still some places left on our HAF Holidays clubs at Barton Moss, Mesne Lea and Bradshaw Hall on Monday 23 December and Friday 3 January. If your child is in Years 1-6 and is eligible for benefits related free school meals, they can attend our free HAF holiday clubs. As you can see, we have lots of fun activities planned to keep the children busy. Watch this space for the activities for 3 January. To book, please follow the link for the school you require. Family Club at Westwood Park
Kickstart Community CIC run a very successful Family Club at Westwood Park Primary School in Eccles with over 33 families attending. Not only do we gather for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee, but we also participate in all the activities on offer. Crafts, Games, Sports and Competitions cater for all ages, babies through to high school and parents all get involved too especially at competition time. We have a qualified Sports Coach who will take groups of children to run off some steam playing various sports like cricket, football, dodgeball, tennis, basketball and a good old round of tig. Earlier this month, we carried out Sports Leader Training at Springside Primary School. Sports leader training is a course that teaches primary school children the basics of how to organise and lead play and sports activities. Often led by certified coaches or school staff, this course combines theory and practical exercises. Young leaders learn about responsibility, communication, and problem-solving, giving them confidence in their ability to lead others.
