Register now for this free five week course to help the over 50’s use IT with confidence. Learn how to stay safe online, find information, and connect with family or friends – plus much more. Each session is 1.5 hours long, starting at 11am and running from Friday 20th January 2023 until Friday 17th February 2023.
With an optional weekly online drop-in you can join from home. To take part in the course, you will be provided with a Lenovo tablet for a contribution of £30. If at the end of the course, you do not want to keep the tablet, you can return it and receive a refund of the £30. Don’t have internet at home? We can organise a set-up of up to 6 months free internet to help you get started.
Hosted by Kickstart, and run by Age Friendly Salford, Wellbeing is of all importance to us, and is chatted about within the sessions, often opening up links to other services offered by Age Friendly Salford, such as their ‘Walk and Talk’ or ‘Brew and Chat’ groups, or highlighting areas of need that can then be addressed.
