Our community programme aims to benefit all the family from the youngest to the oldest, by providing activities that are inclusive and bring people together, building stronger communities. Kickstart Youth Clubs
Please note that our youth clubs will be running fortnightly rather than weekly from now on, the next date being Thursday 26th January at Mesne Lea Primary School, and Friday 27th January at Barton Moss Primary School. We have loads to offer young people at our clubs, with lots of different sports, games and crafts, plus a tuck shop and also a hot meal if required. Each child is sure to be happily and safely occupied, giving you peace of mind at a very reasonable price. Cost of entry is £1.50 and the price for a hot meal is £1.50. Tuck shop prices range from 20p to £1. Children from all schools are welcome to attend.
February Half-Term Holiday Clubs now open for booking
Mesne Lea Walkden Prestolee Stoneclough St Matthew’s Stretford These clubs are now live on our Booking System – head online to book your space now! The Clubs are running from Monday to Friday during the Half Term week and are available from either 8am – 3pm or 8am – 6pm, to suit your needs (Exact dates and prices can be viewed online). We are also offering a holiday club at Mesne Lea for the inset day on Friday 27th January 2023 and this can be booked in the same way. Packed with a range of activities to suit every child, Kickstart provide a home from home setting for the children, looked after by our highly trained staff. The price includes breakfast ,and during extended hours we serve a light tea-time snack. Children just need a packed lunch, water bottle and appropriate footwear.
Kickstart Office Closure
The Kickstart office will be closed from 2pm today (Friday 23rd December) until 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. If you need to book a space for one of our breakfast or afterschool clubs during the Christmas break, you can do this by visiting our online booking system which is on the Kickstart Website. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our schools, families, stakeholders and customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Tech & Tea – free technology course at Barton Moss Primary School
Register now for this free five week course to help the over 50’s use IT with confidence. Learn how to stay safe online, find information, and connect with family or friends – plus much more. Each session is 1.5 hours long, starting at 11am and running from Friday 20th January 2023 until Friday 17th February 2023. With an optional weekly online drop-in you can join from home. To take part in the course, you will be provided with a Lenovo tablet for a contribution of £30. If at the end of the course, you do not want to keep the tablet, you can return it and receive a refund of the £30. Don’t have internet at home?
