Kickstart were delighted to work with Mesne Lea Primary School in Walkden to organise and deliver the first Kickstart Christmas Fayre.  We were honoured to have secured a visit from Santa Claus himself and he told us that he always enjoys visiting the school.  In addition to having our special VIP, we also welcomed a number of local businesses, community groups and charities to come and sell their products in our winter markets, which were a great success.  Coffee on the Common, Rowan Tree Kitchen and Dev’s Ice Creams all offered food and drink to visitors and this was very well received.  Even the ice cream was a hit with the children in arctic conditions! Calling all parents and carers who need a few extra hours next week!Booking is open now for our Christmas Holiday Club at St Matthews Primary School in Stretford. The Club is running from Mon 19th to Thurs 22nd December from 8am – 3pm (£19) and from 8am – 6pm (£25). On Friday 23rd December we will be open from 8am to 2pm, costing (£19) for the day. If your child is eligible for free school meals, we may be able to offer a funded place on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd December. The club is packed with a range of activities to suit every child. The price includes breakfast and during extended hours we serve a light tea-time snack. Children just need a packed lunch, water bottle and appropriate footwear.

Opening on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. We are pleased to announce that, starting in the New Year, Kickstart will be running a Breakfast Club and an Afterschool Club at Waterloo Primary School in Ashton Under Lyne. This is an exciting partnership and we look forward to many years of working together, fulfilling the potential of each child firmly at the centre of everything we do. Our strong company values and committed staff lead to the accolades from children, families, schools and Ofsted alike, who benefit from and appreciate the Kickstart settings which provide “an oasis of calm, where children flourish and thrive through good-quality play experiences”. Huge congratulations to our Flow Dance Group who came away from both their recent competitions with a trophy: ‘Best Newcomer’ at the ‘That’s Showbiz’ event, and 6th place in the ‘UKCA Winter Cheer and Dance Championships’, held last weekend. With new routines, and looking great in their new outfits and leisurewear, the girls are going from strength to strength – well done!
