Due to COVID-19 and to comply with NHS Track and Trace, the Breakfast Club at St Matthew’s CE Primary School will operate on a book in advance basis only from September 2020. The setting will open on Wednesday 2nd September and places will be limited. Bookings are now open via our online booking system – you can register your child now and book your space for the Autumn Term. Sessions are £3 per day and the club opens from 7.30am. Virtual Sports Day
Kickstart has launched the #kickstartsportsday which families and children are invited to participate in. Everyone is welcome to take part and the challenges have been designed so you do not need any sports equipment and so you can do as few or as many as you like. We would invite you to take a look at our Virtual Sports Day Page where you will find instructions on each event and a downloadable certificate and score sheet. You can upload your results at anytime before Wednesday 15th July 2020 and see if you can make our overall leaderboard. Everyone who takes part will receive a certificate and there will be prizes for winners, best effort and the most active person promoting the event on social media. Kickstart and Corrie Primary announce a new partnership
Kickstart are delighted to announce that Corrie Primary School will become a partner school from September 2020. The Board of Directors of Kickstart has welcomed the announcement of Corrie Primary School as a new partner school. “Kickstart has become a very well established service provider with a unique and personal approach. We only have a limited number of partner schools who we work with closely and we are delighted that Corrie Primary School has agreed to work with us from September. Corrie is a large two form primary school at the heart of a thriving and energetic local community. Reopening Plans at St Matthew’s CE Primary School
Dear Parents/Carers, KICKSTART CHILDCARE UPDATE Although the Government has decided that schools can reopen safely with effect from 01 June 2020, Kickstart fully support the decision of St Matthew’s CE Primary School to undertake a phased approach and because the wrap around care provisions would not be able to keep children in their designated bubbles, we will not be opening our breakfast or after-school clubs until September 2020. However, in consultation with Mr Langridge and based on the information available to us now, we do believe that it will be safe to reopen and run a full Summer Holiday Club, starting on Monday 27th July 2020, running daily (weekdays) until Friday 28th August 2020. Kickstart will have to put additional measures in place in order to run the club safely and minimise any risks.
